Local production of ‘Secret Life’ garners Telly Award

Blue Mountain Television was recognized this month with an award for its production of “Secret Life of the Forest: The Northern Blue Mountains.”
The production received a bronze award in the education category from the Telly Awards on May 21.
The awards are a showcase of the best work in television and video for all screens, according to a description. More than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents were judged. Winners represent work from advertising agencies, television stations, production companies and publishers from around the world.
Up next for the station is a new project in the works called “The Secret Life of the Desert: Deserts of the Pacific Northwest.”
The hope for the project is to educate viewers and promote conservation, as well as increase the viewership of Blue Mountain Television.
